These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of our services, your request for and RIL’s provision of a preliminary evaluation of your immigration profile (“Evaluation”) through RIL’s website, forms, email, phone, text, video, or other communications (collectively, the “Platform”), your use thereof, and the relationship between you and RIL. By submitting information to request an Evaluation, scheduling, or otherwise proceeding to use our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • (a) “RIL,” “we,” “us,” “our” means Robinson Immigration Law, LLC and its attorneys, employees, staff, contractors, or agents.

  • (b) “You” or “your” means the individual requesting an Evaluation, including anyone submitting information on another person’s behalf.

  • (c) “Evaluation” means conducting a preliminary review, screening, or assessment based on the information you provide, after which RIL may provide general education about immigration options and next steps.

  • (d) “Submission” means any information you provide to RIL, including through intake forms, uploads, messages, emails, calls, texts, calendar links, documents, or otherwise.

  • (e) “Engagement Agreement” means a separate written agreement signed by you and RIL establishing legal representation.

2. No Attorney-Client Relationship

  • (a) No attorney-client relationship. Requesting an Evaluation, submitting a Submission, receiving a response, scheduling a call, or paying an Evaluation fee (if any) does not create an attorney-client relationship with RIL. An attorney-client relationship is formed if and only if you and RIL execute an Engagement Agreement, which is a separate document in which RIL agrees to provide you with specific legal services. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and any such Engagement Agreement, the terms of the Engagement Agreement shall prevail.

  • (b) No legal advice. Any information provided during an Evaluation or otherwise is for informational and educational purposes only and is not legal advice. Such legal advice will only be provided upon the parties executing an Engagement Agreement. RIL expressly disclaims any liability for any action or inaction you take prior to entering into an Engagement Agreement with RIL.

  • (c) No duty to act. Unless and until an Engagement Agreement is fully executed, RIL has no obligation to: (i) take any action on your behalf, (ii) advise you of deadlines or other legal matters, (iii) file anything, (iv) monitor your matter, or (v) represent you in any capacity.

3. Information Submissions

  • (a) Do not submit sensitive information. Do not send passwords, payment card data, sensitive personal identifiers, or other information you would not want disclosed. Although RIL may take reasonable precautions, submitting information via electronic means may be inherently unsafe and insecure. You accept the risks of transmitting information via the internet, email, text, or other electronic means.

  • (b) RIL’s collection, use, retention, and disclosure of personal data is governed by RIL’s Privacy Policy: https://robinsonimmigration.com/privacy-policy/. By submitting a Submission, you acknowledge you have read it and agree to it. You further acknowledge and agree that RIL is based in the United States and that any information provided to RIL may be transferred to, stored, accessed, or used in the United States and that the data protection and other laws of the United States may differ from the laws of other countries.

  • (c) RIL has no obligation to preserve any information that you submit. You grant RIL permission to retain and use any information that you submit to provide services and for business purposes, including, for example, conflict checks.

  • (d) You represent and warrant that you have the authority to submit any information that you submit; that no such information constitutes trade secrets, copyrighted information, or information that may otherwise be protected from disclosure; and that your or RIL’s use of any such information for any purpose does not infringe on any third party’s rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights.

4. Right to Decline Representation

  • (a) RIL may decline representation for any reason, including conflicts, capacity, jurisdictional limits, or case merit, in RIL’s sole discretion.

  • (b) No disqualification of adverse representation. Unless required by law or ethics rules, any Submission, request for Evaluation, or other use of RIL's services does not prevent RIL from representing other clients whose interests may be adverse to yours.

5. Your Responsibilities

  • (a) You represent and warrant that all information you provide is true, accurate, and complete to the best of your knowledge. You are responsible for correcting or updating any information that changes. You understand that any misrepresentation or omission may lead to refusal of service, contract termination, or legal consequences.

  • (b) Deadlines remain your responsibility. Immigration and related processes involve strict deadlines, and you understand that RIL is not responsible for your compliance with or knowledge of any such deadlines.

  • (c) No reliance for filing decisions. You agree not to rely on any information that may be provided by RIL as the basis for making filing decisions or choosing a legal strategy prior to entering into an Engagement Agreement with RIL. You agree not to take any action or inaction that would affect your matter based upon any such information prior to entering into an Engagement Agreement with RIL.

  • (d) Immigration requirements, agency policies, processing times, and adjudication standards may change without notice, and RIL expressly disclaims any liability resulting from such changes. Such changes may render any information provided by RIL outdated or inaccurate.

  • (e) RIL cannot and does not guarantee outcomes, approvals, processing times, or eligibility. Many immigration benefits involve discretionary standards. Outcomes depend on various factors that may be outside the parties' control, including facts, evidence, adjudicator discretion, and policy.

  • (f) Third-party discretion. USCIS, DOS, CBP, EOIR, DOL, and other agencies and entities affect and control decisions and timelines. RIL is not responsible for third-party delays or decisions.

6. Communications Consent

  • (a) Consent to contact. By providing contact information, you consent to receive communications from RIL at the phone numbers and emails you provide, including calls, emails, and texts, for business purposes, including any request for an Evaluation, scheduling, and potential representation. Opting out may limit RIL’s ability to communicate with you and may affect scheduling or RIL’s provision of services, and you garee that any such opt out releases RIL from any obligation related to your matter.

  • (d) No guarantee of response time. RIL may provide estimated response times, but such estimates are not guaranteed and may be affected by holidays, workloads, or other factors, and we disclaim any liability relating to such response times.
