Lin is a U.S. immigration attorney with more than twenty-six years of experience advising businesses, researchers, physicians, entrepreneurs, executives, artists, and other highly accomplished professionals on employment-based immigration matters. Over the course of her career, she has successfully handled well over one thousand extraordinary ability, executive, and other employment-based immigration matters, including O-1, L-1, EB-1, and National Interest Waiver petitions, and has represented clients through several hundred Requests for Evidence and Notices of Intent to Deny. Her practice focuses on aligning immigration strategy with each client’s long-term professional and business goals.
Lin represents both corporate and individual clients in a broad range of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters, including extraordinary ability petitions, national interest waivers, multinational manager and executive petitions, outstanding researcher petitions, treaty investor visas, intracompany transferee visas, specialty occupation petitions, and permanent residence applications. She regularly advises clients whose accomplishments require careful evidentiary development and strategic positioning before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
Before joining Robinson Immigration Law, Lin served in senior immigration attorney roles at prominent law firms in New York and New Jersey. In addition to representing clients, she has led legal teams, trained attorneys and paralegals, developed case preparation systems, and contributed to firm initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and client service. She has also written extensively on immigration law and develops educational resources for employers, foreign nationals, and legal professionals.
Prior to practicing law, Lin worked as a science educator in the New York City public school system, where she taught Earth Science, Criminology, and interdisciplinary STEM courses. Her background in science and education gives her a distinctive lens when representing researchers, scientists, healthcare professionals, engineers, and other professionals in highly technical fields.
